Vehicle Description 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air I went to Cleveland, Ohio to look at 2 different red Bel Airs and ended up choosing the beautiful work of art.
Seeing the outstanding paint and chrome and how strong the engine was, I fell in love.
After getting it home, I replaced the interior and used the original colors and fabric.
I also replaced the steering column, steering wheel, painted the dash and replaced the trim.
New heater core, blower motor, power steering unit, heavy duty radiator to accommodate the 350 engine, dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, master cylinder, electric wiper motor, brake pads, front fenders, grill, plus so much more.
This car was stripped down to bare metal.
The floor pans have been replaced except the trunk floor appears to be original.
The new front fenders and grill gives the Bel Air great body lines in appearance.
The transmission has been rebuilt (paperwork included).
It sits on 15 Corvette rally wheels.
Very attractive.
I have attended several car shows and this car stood out and stood tall, turned a lot of heads and left a great impression.
