The Office Manager co-ordinates activities of clerical personnel in the dealership.
Assists in the implementation of controls and completes the activities necessary to accomplish these goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Prepare daily cash report, transfer funds, and reconcile cash daily Reconcile and replenish cash boxes and petty cash once a month Post manual journal entries Capture and post deals into accounting Stock in vehicles into inventory Process and post daily accounting for Parts and Service Hire, train, and supervise clerical staff Review clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness Co-ordinate clerical duties within the department and with other departments Work with office staff to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks Reconcile vendor statements to our payable checks Prepare accounts receivable statements Reconcile select accounts monthly, prior to month-end Assist in completion of annual review/audit.
Complete end-of-month expense analysis Assist with vehicle titling duties
Qualifications:
Accounting degree preferred Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Working knowledge of dealership documents Excellent communication skills Professional personal appearance.
Will be trained on dealership computer systems Salary is commensurate with experience Job Type:
