Perform a variety of tasks to support the records function of the bank.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Respond to internal customer phone inquiries and emails in a professional and accurate manner.
Perform routine administrative work such as receiving, documenting, tracking and distributing incoming interoffice and US mail.
Prepare records for scanning by removing staples, clips etc.
and inserting document separators as per the indexing guidelines.
Perform imaging functions in a production environment for paper records by scanning documents using high speed production scanning equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on high speed production scanning equipment.
Catalog and index deposit, consumer and mortgage loan documents for system archive according to the indexing standards and guidelines.
Import digital records using bank approved software into the system archive for record retention purposes.
Provide records management support to various banking units including maintenance to the system archive for imaging corrections and retrieval of records.
Participate in the Records Management Program by following the Records Standards for document retention and destruction.
Assist in the creation and updating of procedures while routinely looking for ways to improve the process.
Position Requirements:
Education - High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Experience - Over six (6) months of financial service, customer service, or processing experience.
Physical - Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs; extended sitting for up to three (3) hours at one time; and the ability to stand, reach, stoop and use of hands and arms to grasp and manipulate objects.
Preferred Requirements:
Prior banking experience Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience with document management system.
Experience Required Six (6) months of financial service, customer service, or related processing experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
